We help leaders build successful careers, marriages and resilience into their
everyday lives.
Our Team
Fickley Coaching exists to help leaders live and lead with clarity, health, and purpose. While I remain the founder and lead coach, I’m grateful to be joined by a small, capable team that strengthens the depth and quality of the work we offer.
Karlee Goodwin
Associate Coach
Karlee serves as an associate coach with Fickley Coaching. She brings a steady presence, strong relational instincts, and real-world experience working with founders, executives, and leadership teams navigating growth and change.
Her background includes work across entrepreneurial ecosystems, nonprofit leadership, and organizational development. She previously served as Community Director at Atlanta Tech Village and COO of FoundersForge, where she helped founders and leaders think clearly, lead with intention, and build healthier cultures.
In addition to her work at Fickley Coaching, Karlee serves as Chief of Staff at ActionVFX, where she works across operations, people, and strategy. Her work focuses on helping teams function with clarity and trust. She holds SHRM certification and brings practical, real-world experience from inside organizations that are trying to grow in healthy ways.
She is also the founder and facilitator of Spark Women, a professional community in the Appalachian Highlands that supports women as they build confidence, develop meaningful connection, and gain clarity around work and life.
Karlee’s coaching style is thoughtful, perceptive, and grounded. Clients often describe her as someone who listens carefully, notices what others miss, and asks questions that get beneath the surface. She works with leaders who want to lead with intention, build strong teams, and make decisions that align with their values.
Karlee coaches her own clients within Fickley Coaching under the same values and overall approach that shape the practice.
Mariah Gosselin
Client Experience & Operations
Mariah leads client experience and operations for Fickley Coaching. Her work supports the behind-the-scenes systems and relationships that allow the coaching itself to stay clean, clear, and well-supported.
She is a builder by nature—of systems, processes, and teams. Her background includes work in high-expectation environments where quality and client care truly matter. From hospitality and event coordination to senior account management at Cirrus Aircraft, she has consistently worked with discerning, high-end clients and taken ownership of the experience they receive.
At Cirrus, Mariah helped shape the JetStream ownership experience for private aircraft clients, built new processes from the ground up, and led account managers responsible for ongoing relationships and renewals. Earlier roles at BlackBerry Farm and in outdoor hospitality further shaped her attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to care for people well—especially when expectations are high.
That experience shows up in how she approaches every interaction within the practice. She is intentional, responsive, and deeply attentive to the experience each client has from first contact to ongoing communication.
Mariah brings a deep respect for quality, service, and professionalism to every client interaction. Her presence strengthens the overall experience for both clients and coaches.
Jim Fickley
Founder & Lead Coach
I founded Fickley Coaching after my own life and leadership were reshaped through coaching. My work today is shaped by over three decades of experience in counseling, coaching, leadership development, and walking alongside high-achieving professionals through real life challenges.
I work with leaders who care deeply about their work and their people, but who are also feeling the weight of responsibility, pressure, and complexity. My coaching is grounded, honest, and practical. We focus on clarity, alignment, healthy rhythms, strong relationships, and meaningful direction.
Clients work with me because they want depth rather than hype, and because they value coaching that addresses the whole person — not just performance.
